Bertha A. Hofmann

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 2, 1985 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kenedy for Mrs. Bertha A. Hofmann. Rev. Donald Luckemeyer officiated. A prayer service was held Friday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. Interment was in the Karnes City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Charles Lange, James Winkler, Werner Ahrens, Virgil Cleveland, Lee Roy [sic] Green and Harold Ahrens. Arrangements were by Rhodes Funeral Home of Karnes City.

Mrs. Hofmann was born in Colorado Co., Texas on August 30, 1904 to Fritz and Alma Somerlotte Lange and died on February 28, 1985 in Four Seasons Nursing Home. She was 80 years, five months and 28 days of age.

Mrs. Hofmann had lived in Karnes City since 1965 having moved from Peggy in 1960. She was preceded in death by her spouse in 1965. Mrs. Hofmann was a housewife and mother. She was a member of Sons of Herman.

Survivors include: Arnold Hofmann, Son, Karnes City, Mrs. Willie (Lillie Mae) Lamprecht, daughter, Karnes City, brothers, Charles Lange, Houston, Alfred Lange, Wichita Falls, Sisters, Mrs. Elise Fenner, Karnes City, Mrs. Ella Wernli, San Antonio, Mrs. Mary Jane Green, San Antonio, five grandchildren, one great grandchild.
